B2ST′s Yong Jun Hyung Casts as Lead Role in Mnet's New Drama “Monstar”

Yong Jun Hyung from idol group B2ST has cast in his first drama.

On February 17th, CJ E&M revealed that Jun Hyun will play the lead role of the drama in Mnet's first drama ever.

Yong Jun Hyung will play the role of Yoon Seol Chan, a rough, mean vocalist in fictional group “Men in Black.”

This will mark Yong Jung Hyung's debut as an actor. He is known for his skills at songwriting and composing, therefore he will be able to portray his character well, as he is similar to him.

“Monstar” will be about behind-the-scenes stories of many people who want to become singers.

The drama will start filming later this month and air on April 6.
