FT ISLAND's Lee Hong Ki Will Appear in the Global Version of “We Got Married”

Lee Hong Ki from idol band FT ISLAND will be getting “married.”

On February 22th, a representative from his agency, FNC Entertainment, revealed that the singer and actor will join the global version of the hit MBC show.

Lee Hong Ki will marry Japanese actress Fujii Mina. The actress is no stranger to the Korean entertainment. She has been appearing in different dramas like SBS’s King of Dramas, Channel A’sMs. Panda and Mr. Hedgehog, and KBS 2’s Another Wedding, because of her love for K-Dramas.

It was also revealed that the two already filmed their first episode, that will soon air.

The global version of “We Got Married” is produced by MBC and Sony Pictures Entertainment, and will air in 41 different countries, including Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, and Australia. Also, they are in the talks to air the show through Youtube.

Another idol who was cast for this version of “We Got Married” is 2PM's Taeyeon and Taiwanese actress Gui Gui.

The show will start airing in early April.
