Toyota Tacoma Pick Up Still Leads Its Segment? Japanese Automaker’s Midsize Truck Bags Vincentric Best Value In America Awards For 11 Years In A Row

Toyota Tacoma has been ruling the midsize truck segment for about a decade now. The Japanese automaker's pick-up is maintaining its lead and positive reputation over the years.   

According to Torque News, Toyota Tacoma pick-up bagged the "Vincentric Best Value In America Awards" for the midsize truck segment this 2015. Vincentric noted the vehicle's "'expected' cost of ownership and its 'measured' cost of ownership" to quantify the best value in its segment.

"The Toyota Tacoma wins a Vincentric Best Value in America award for the 11th year in a row supported by the lowest total cost of ownership, lowest maintenance costs, and the highest resale value in its class," Vincentric stated.

Torque News echoed that the 2015 Toyota Tacoma started with a big advantage when it earned the top spot for resale value plus this midsize pick-up has low maintenance cost. Reportedly, "the Tacoma comes with the first two years of maintenance at no added cost."

This news makes it more exciting for the redesigned Toyota Tacoma pick-up. The Japanese automaker is confident about the 2016 model and promises that it will be better that its predecessor.

"For the past 50 years adventure-seeking Americans have relied on Toyota trucks to take them places, on and off-road. The all-new homegrown Tacoma is a tough truck designed, developed and built for lifestyles of the young and young-at-heart," Bill Fay, Toyota Division Group vice president & general manager, stated in post-gazette.com.

With Tacoma, Toyota is expecting to raise the standard once again for midsize truck performance.
