Kim Ah Joong Going To Africa To Volunteer

Actress Kim Ah Joong will leave for Africa to help the needy.

It was recently announced that the actress is to leave to Siberia on March 11th, with the KBS charity show “Road of Hope."

The actress will be staying in Siberia for 10 days to help the kids and people in need, in the African country.

Besides the actress, more celebrities like Yoon Si Yoon will join the show, which is in collaboration with “Save The Children” foundation.

This is not the first time the actress does good deeds. She recently helped the members of her official fan club to help single mothers, that in Korea, are very ignored.

KBS' “Road of Hope” is a program that raises money for charity while increasing the awareness of poverty around the world. Stars like BoA, Yoon Eun hye and Ahn Sung Ki, have participated in the program. It is reported that the show collected US $3.8 million in 2010, and US$11 million. It is currently in its third season which aired on July.

The actress last appeared in the romantic comedy film “My PS Partner” starring alongside Ji Sung, the film was released in December of last year.
