“My Daughter Seo Young” Lee Bo Young, Regretful of Delayed Forgiveness
"My Daughter Seo Young" Lee Bo Young reveals what has been going through her mind.
During the 49th episode of the KBS weekend drama "My Daughter Seo Young" that aired on February 2, Seo Young (Lee Bo Young) is featured crying continuously after Sam Jae's (Chun Ho Jin) condition worsens in the hospital.
While Sam Jae is being transferred to the intensive care unit, Seo Young says, "Please do something for my dad. I didn't even get a chance to say anything to him. Please save his life." Seo Young then begins to cry uncontrollably in Woo Jae's (Lee Sang Yoon) arms.
Seo Young stays inside of Sam Jae's hospital room while blaming herself for everything. Seo Young tells Sang Woo (Park Hae Jin), "I shouldn't have married Woo Jae. No, I should have never met him. I made Woo Jae prepare ancestral dinner as if my father was dead already. If he dies, it's my fault."
Later, Seo Young says to Sam Jae who still remains unconscious, "Dad, I'm sorry I couldn't look back sooner. I'll forgive you for everything. Just wake up. I have something to tell you. I'll do anything you say" and showed tears of deep regret.
Seo Young also makes a visit to his father and mother-in-law to sincerely apologize. Regarding the lies she created, she says, "I was selfish in trying to not feel pathetic from what I feel for my father. Woo Jae received the scars from our divorce and I am very sorry to you both for this embarrassing situation. Please forgive me."
At the end of the episode, Seo Young reveals the thoughts about Woo Jae that she has been hiding for a very long time. Seo Young says to Woo Jae, "I'm sorry for everything I've done. I didn't want to show you anything bad and I didn't want to disappoint you. I was scared to lose you. I love you even now and still wish you would stay next to me" revealing her honest sincerity for the first time since their divorce. Woo Jae and Seo Young embraced this moment with a kiss.
However, Sam Jae still remains unconscious in the hospital. Viewers are patiently awaiting to see how the story turns out.
