Instagram Update Brings In 'Emoji Hashtags' And Three New Filters 'Inspired By Weekend Adventures Outdoors'; Update Available For iOS And Android Users

The photo-sharing social media site Instagram has announced a new update that includes new filters and Emoji hashtags.

According to Instagram blog, the emoji hashtag is a bonus update of Instagram and now it can be used by anyone to share photos or videos.

"Over the past few years, emoji have become part of a universal visual language. And just as we share photos and videos, we use emoji to communicate emotions and feelings in ways that anyone can understand, regardless of language or background," it said.

"With emoji hashtags, you can discover even more by adding them to your own photos and videos, searching them on the Explore page and tapping on them when you see them in captions."

In addition, Instagram update also brings new filters -- are Juno, Lark, and Reyes == which can enhance and brighten the photos.
