Kara's Park Gyu Ri Cast as Leading Role in Drama “Nailshop Paris”

Park Gyu Ri from girl group Kara has been cast in a new drama.

It was recently revealed that Park Gyu Ri will star in her first lead role in a drama, as woman who dressed like a boy.

The singer will play the role of Hong Yeo Joo, a girl that works on the internet at home, but will dress as a boy to get a job in a nail salon that is full flower boys.

This will be her second time in a drama after she appeared in the Japanese drama “URAKARA” in 2011 and the first time in a Korean drama as the lead.

The actress have been preparing herself for some time now, taking acting classes and studying her character well. She will even show nail art to show a more realistic view of her character.

The drama also cast MBLAQ’s Thunder, Jeon Ji Hoo, and Song Jae Lim, who are all rookie actors.

The drama will be about the girl's experience, and happiness while working in the nail salon, and it will premiere on MBC's cable channels Drama net, and QueeN starting on early April.
