Nine K-Drama Stars That Have Birthdays In May

Several k-drama stars will extinguish another round of birthday candles this month.

 Park Hae Jin is the first to celebrate on May 1. Since his last birthday he has appeared in two dramas, "Doctor Stranger" and "Bad Guys." This year he can be seen in the film "Snow In Sea Breeze,"

On May 2, BTOB member Yook Sung Jae gets to celebrate turning 20 and a new drama role. The singer plays the role of Gong Tae Kwang in "Who Are You- School 2015?" You may have seen him before when he had supporting roles in "Reply 1994" and "Plus Nine Boys."

Actress Moon Geun Young turns a year older on May 6. She has not appeared on the small screen since she played the leading role in the 2013 drama "Goddess of Fire: Jeonji." She did play the role of Lady Hye Gyeong in the historical film "The Throne," her first film in eight years. She was considering a role in an upcoming drama "Chaebol's Daughter" but ultimately declined the part.

May 13 is the day Bae Jong Ok was born. This year the actress played Kim Jae Joong's mom in the espionage thriller "Spy." Her recent credits include "Wild Chives and Soybean Soup," "Wonderful Mama" and "That Winter The Wind Blows."

Jung Suk Won celebrates his birthday on May 16. The actor recently wrapped up his role in the fantasy drama "Mr. Baek. The actor shares his birthday with singer-actress IU and actor Ju Ji Hoon.

IU will soon appear in the highly anticipated drama "Producers" with Cha Tae Hyun, Gong Hyo Jin and Kim Soo Hyun.

Ju Hi Hoon will soon play the role of a young chaebol in the drama "Mask" and he can also be seen playing a king's retainer in the 2015 historical film "The Treacherous." He will also play the center of a love triangle in the Chinese film "Love Suspicion.

Min Han Groo will turn 23 on May 29th. After her recent role in the romantic comedy "Marriage and Not Dating," she made cameo appearances in the drama "Super Daddy Yeol.

Girls Generation member Im Yoona has to wait until the end of the month to celebrate. But she does have a lot to do until then. The singer-turned-actress is currently in China filming the historical drama "Wu Shen Zhao Zi Long." It's the story of the Chinese hero Zhao Zi Long. Yoona plays the female lead. Her character falls in love with Zao Zi Long, played by Chinese star Lin Gengxin, but then finds out that he killed her father.
