Microsoft Windows 10 Preview Build 10074 Now Available, What Are The New Features?

Microsoft has released the Windows 10 Preview Build 10074 which promises a host of new features for users.

According to the report from Indian Express, Microsoft's Build 2015 Conference started on Wednesday where the company announced the latest build of the Windows 10 preview, the Build 10074, made available for download to customers who are part of Windows 10 Insider Program.

On the official blog of Windows, meanwhile, the Windows 10 Preview Build 10074 brings general UX improvements and new features.

"We made a bunch of UX improvements with the last build more in this build. For example, you'll notice a new Live Tile animation for Start in addition to in addition to some performance and stability improvements for Live Tiles," wrote Gabe Aul, chief of the Windows Insider program.

"We've done work to better support high DPI displays. And we know many Windows Insiders are running multi-nom setups - often with 2 monitors with different DPI. You will start to see some work we're doing to make sure UX components in Windows scale correctly on both your monitors so things look nice regardless of DPI."

Furthermore, the Windows 10 Preview Build 10074 includes features such as visual refresh for Cortana, which will make the experience of the user "ingrained into the overall Windows experience."

Also, the Xbox app for Windows 10 has been updated and the user version number should be 4.4.9014.0 or higher. Aul wrote that "with new features like Game DVR for PC games, screenshots, a Live Tile, user profiles, and real-name sharing."

In addition, the build fixes different issues and users can now "launch Win32 (desktop) apps from the Start menu again." Also, a user can now download music in Music Preview apps and Xbox Music.
