Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Will Be Featured In 'Disney Infinity 3.0' Starter Pack Which Retails At $64.99; When Will It Be Available?
The heroes and villains from "Star Wars" will join the characters of Disney, Disney Pixar and Marvel in "Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition."
According to Star Wars site, the "Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition Starter Pack" will be available this fall at a suggested retail price of $64.99. The said game will be loaded with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" characters.
"Three Star Wars Play Sets, one set in the timeline of Episodes l-lll, the second set during the original trilogy, Episodes lV-lV, and the third available this winter based on Star Wars: The Force Awakens," it said.
The "Star Wars" that will be featured on "Disney Infinity 3.0" will include characters from the "past, present and future."
"We worked closely with Lucasfilm to deliver an authentic Star Wars game experience, featuring some of the most iconic stories and characters from the past, present and future," said James Pitaro, president of Disney Interactive.
Furthermore, Stuff reported that two "Star Wars" play sets will initially be available.
The first one is the "Twilight of the Republic" that takes place during the prequel film trilogy Episode l-lll with Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Maul and Yoda. The second play set is the "Rise Against the Empire" that takes place at the original trilogy with Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader playable.
The third set, which is the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will be available this summer.
"Star Wars is a cross-generational franchise and Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition creates an incredible opportunity for families and fans to relive their favourite Star Wars moments," said John Blackburn, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Infinity.
Meanwhile, aside from "Star Wars" sets, the "Disney Infinity 3.0" will also feature additional play sets including the Disney Pixar play set based on the upcoming movie "Inside Out" as well as Marvel play set, which features Ultron, Hulkbuster Iron Man and other characters.
