A Hundred Year's Inheritance

Choi Won Young says goodbye to Eugene and says goodbye with tears in his eyes.

In an episode of the MBC weekend drama "A Hundred Year's Inheritance" that aired March 10, Bang Young Ja (Park Won Sook) was featured pushing his son, Kim Chul Kyu's (Choi Won Young) relationship with Ma Hong Joo (Shim Yi Young).

Bang Young Ja wanted her son to get married to the daughter of the Taesan Group CEO. She wanted to hurry their wedding so she met with both Kim Chul Young and Ma Hong Joo.

Kim Chul Kyu opened up to Ma Hong Joo after hearing her story and says, "If you marry me, you're going to have a lot of responsibilities from my parents." Ma Hong Joo responds, "Are you going to marry me?" Kim Chul Kyu then responds, "I have to go ask somebody." He still had not forgotten about his ex-wife Min Chae Won (Eugene).

Regardless of what Kim Chul Kyu wanted, Bang Young Ja wanted Ma Hong Joo. Seeing his mother's reaction, Kim Chul Kyu couldn't hide his bitterness. He was disturbed by his mother's happy acceptance of the news that Ma Hong Joo had been born out of wedlock, when she had an affair.

Kim Chul Kyu visits Min Chae Won soon after and tells her that he will get married soon but he will cancel everything if she still loves him. He wanted to ask her to come back to him one last time.

No matter what he does, she will never take him back. Realizing this, Kim Chul Kyu says, "I won't come see you again" and turns back.
