Serena Williams and coach Patrick Mouratoglou, who's also rumored to be her boyfriend, is heading to the French Open 2015 with history in mind.

According to the preview analysis by USA Today, Serena Williams' road toward a historic 20th Grand Slam won't be easy.

"When looking at Serena's draw, it's tempting to find the sexy matchups, like the possible one against Victoria Azarenka in round three and Caroline Wozniacki in the quarters, and say that the world No. 1 got a tough draw," the article said.

However, it said that Serena Williams-the world's number one according to ATP Women's Ranking-typically defeat those opponents.

"Here are the last seven women Serena has lost to in majors, dating back to 2012: Alize Cornet, Garbine Muguruza, Ana Ivanovic, Sabine Lisicki, Sloane Stephens, Virginie Razzano, Ekaterina Makarova. She's won six Slams in that time and an Olympic gold," the article added.

But there's a bit of good news for Serena Williams and boyfriend-coach Patrick Mouratoglou heading into the French Open 2015: she's recovering from her injury.

"The elbow is much, much better," she said. "I was worried about it, but lately I have been getting some really good treatment that has been able to alleviate it and make the symptoms go down substantially.

"So I feel a lot better going forward in the tournament and just getting through it. The good thing is that every day, it's getting better. I'm just starting to serve harder, so I'm like, 'Yes.'"

It's the same injury that made Serena Williams and alleged boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou to pull out of the Rome Masters in March.

"I've been dealing with it since last week in Madrid," the tennis ace told reporters during the news conference last March as reported by Reuters. "It was a difficult decision but I should be ready for Paris."
