Sung Joon Casts in “The Writings of Nine Houses”
Actor Sung Joon will join the MBC drama as Suzy's bodyguard.
On March 13th, the actor's agency revealed that the actor has been chosen to act as Suzy's bodyguard.
The actor will play the role of Gon, who is in charge of taking care of Dam Yeo Wool (Suzy). He likes Choi Kang Chi (Lee Seung Gi) but will often fight with him, because he is in love with Dam Yeo Woo.
His agency, Choii Entertainment, said, “Sung Joon will play a very different role from his previous ones, please anticipate and pay attention to him, as he will show a new side of him.”
The actor will join the cast and crew and will began filming, soon after he finishes with his shooting of horror movie “Horror Stories 2.”
The drama that is directed by Shin Woo Cheol, who have directed hits like “Secret Garden,” “A Gentleman’s Dignity,” and “Lovers in Prague.” It's written by Kang Eun Kyung who wrote dramas “Glory Jane,” and “Baker King, Kim Tak Goo.”
"The Writings of Nine Houses" is a historical drama about a man who is half human and half animal. He tries his best to be a human and in order to become one, he will go through different challenges.
The drama will air in early April, after "The Horse Healer." ends.
