"IRIS 2" Yoo Min Sacrifices her Life for Jang Hyuk

"IRIS 2" Yoo Min chooses to die in order to save Jang Hyuk's life.

March 14, the 10th episode of the KBS drama "IRIS 2" featured Rie (Yoo Min) going against the orders from IRIS to end Jung Yoo Gun's (Jang Hyuk) life.

As soon as Jung Yoo Gun's memories return, he falls asleep drunk. Ray (David McInnis) orders Rie, "Get rid of Jung Yoo Gun". Rie watches Jung Yoo Gun sleep for a while and says, "I'm sorry" and shoots her gun. Ray hears the gun shot and leaves with Rie.

However, Jung Yoo Gun wakes up the next morning. He sees the messy motel room and begins to pack his cellphone and cash. Soon after, Rie returns to the motel room and begins to cry while holding him tightly. Rie tells him everything and says, "Hurry up and run away. Everybody knows you're beginning to get your memories back. Your name is Jung Yoo Gun. You're a NSS agent, not IRIS. Right now the NSS is trying to track you down as well. Don't get caught by both NSS and IRIS. Live in hiding forever. I'm sorry."

Jung Yoo Gun replies, "It's okay. We don't know each other anyway. Go your way" and leaves. NSS is on the hunt for Jung Yoo Gun after Yoo Joong Won (Lee Beom Soo) reported him. Jung Yoo Gun runs as fast as he can but gets caught by IRIS. In front of his eyes, Rie is shot and dies.

Rie's last words are, "I told you not to get caught" and closes her eyes. Jung Yoo Gun feels responsible for Rie's death and feels extremely guilty. Soon after, Ray points the gun to Jung Yoo Gun and the episode ends.
