Marking his 30th birthday, Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young proposed to his girlfriend who also canceled her "Great Escape Tour." The tabloids put two and two together and are now wondering: is Iggy Azalea pregnant?
"The odd timing of Iggy cancelling her tour and getting engaged has everyone whispering that she might be pregnant - and the rumors aren't that far-fetched," said Celebrity Dirty Laundry.
On cancelling her tour, Nick Young's fiancée told Seventeen that she's been working non-stop for the past two years.
"I'm not in a bad place. I think sometimes when you say you need a mental break, people are like, 'A mental break? Be sure you don't have a breakdown because you're sad.' No, not necessarily. It's very emotionally draining to be on all the time and going all the time, planning all the time. It's a lot, and it's tough," she said.
Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young posted on Instagram a photo of him kissing fiancée Iggy Azalea. He wrote, "She said yes. It's over man. I'm getting married!"
According to Entertainment Tonight, the ring-featuring 8.15 carat Fancy Intense yellow cushion cut center stone along with 2.28 carats of white diamond-costs around $500,000.
Jason Arasheben, CEO OF Jason of Beverly Hills, told the site, "Nick was very involved in designing the ring. We wanted it to be both a ring of Iggy's dreams and a ring that fit her personal style."
And still the rumors about Iggy Azalea being pregnant persisted.
"Iggy and Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young have been dating for over two years - and just recently went through some major relationship bumps when Nick was accused of cheating on her," said CDL.
"Why the sudden rush to get engaged and married now? Rushed weddings and engagements are typically the result of unexpected pregnancies."
