Shin Hyun Joon To Marry This May

Actor Shin Hyun Joon will be getting married to his fiance of six months.

On March 16th, the actor announced that he will marry his fiance, a Korea American, who is 12 years younger than him, on May 26th.

The actor gave the happy news via Twitter, and wrote, “I am getting married. The two us will be become more sincere and beautiful towards God. Thank you.”

His agency, confirmed the news on the same day and revealed more details about his wife-to-be, who have been living and studying music in American since she was young, and the venue of their marriage, that will be at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, in Seoul.

The actor also revealed the way he met his future wife on the KBS2 show “Entertainment Weekly.” He said, “I was going inside of a building, and she was coming out. I turned around right away to look at her and she was looking at me too.” revealing it was love at first sight.

He continued, “I thought it would regret it for the rest of my live if I let her go. It feels like she was an old friend of mine.”

The actor cleared up rumors about this being a shotgun wedding, since it haven't been that long since they've met. He said, “She is not pregnant at all. I am doing because I am old, and my father is sick.”

The actor is famous for his appearance in dramas like “Stairway to Heaven,” “Bridal Mask,” “Ohlala Couple,” and in movies like “Son of the General,” and “Marrying the Mafia.”
