"A Hundred Year's Inheritance" Park Won Sook becomes furious after she hears Shim Yi Young say she does not want to have any children.

March 23, an episode of the MBC drama "A Hundred Year's Inheritance" featured Ma Hong Joo (Shim Yi Young), who remarried Kim Cheol Kyu (Choi Won Young), revealing that she does not want to give birth to any children.

In this episode, Bang Young Ja (Park Won Sook) invites Ma Hong Joo to go shopping in order to help her relieve stress. During their day out, Park Won Sook suggests stopping by a oriental acupuncture and herbal clinic, famous for their treatment that helps pregnancy. However, Ma Hong Joo says, "I'm not going to have children."

Bang Young Ja is shocked and says, "What did you just say? If you married my son, you should continue our family line. Are you trying to end our family history?" Ma Hong Joo replies, "I didn't get married to have children" and made herself clear. Ma Hong Joo gets angry and tells Bang Young Ja that she does not feel well for dinner then leaves.

Regarding the topic of having children, Ma Hong Joo's husband Kim Cheol Kyu says, "I have no plans to continue my blood that was created out of infidelity. I don't want to pass on the unpleasant genes in my body to my children." He expressed his shame for his background and mentioned how he wishes he could change the blood that is running through his veins.
