A recent report published by the Korean outlet Mydaily examined the top Hallyu dating announcements in the first half of 2015. Lee Min Ho and Miss A's Suzy kicked off the list for their relationship, which was confirmed in March 2015, following the release of photos depicting the couple on dates in London, England.

"This year, dating news of mainstream stars have been reported often," said the writer for Mydaily. "One of the biggest topics has been the relationship between actor Lee Min Ho and Suzy of the girl group Miss A."

While their dating news continues to be a hot topic, other announcements have dominated headlines. In May 2015, engagement news involving Hallyu star Bae Yong Joon and former K-pop idol-turned-actress Park Soo Jin created buzz. The couple is expected to tie the knot in the fall.

The report then focused on one of the biggest announcements for K-pop fans in 2015. The month of June kicked off with confirmation of a relationship involving Big Bang's Taeyang and singer-turned-actress Min Hyo Rin.

"In early June, the relationship of actress Min Hyo Rin and Big Bang Taeyang was confirmed," said the Mydaily writer. "He admitted this was the first time he dated since he debuted nine years ago, with the group."

Their news was significant, as they represent the first public relationship of an artist represented by YG Entertainment. The couple previously garnered attention with their steamy kiss in the music video, "1 AM."

Another significant relationship for Hallyu fans involves Girls' Generation member Yuri and baseball player Oh Seung Hwan. In April 2015, representatives for the couple confirmed that they were dating, removing another member from Girls' Generation from single status.
