Son Ye Jin Decides to Lead Drama “Shark”

Actress Son Ye Jin has accepted the role in upcoming drama “Shark.”

A few weeks ago, it was reported that the actress and actor Kim Nam Gil were offered the role in the KBS drama. Now Son Ye Jin has decided to take on the role.

On March 26th, the actress' agency revealed that she has taken the offer to be the leading female role in the drama.

She will play the role of Jo Hae Woo, the only heiress to the Gaya Hotel Group, who gives up her position in the group to become a prosecutor. She is confident and independent with a strong sense of pride. She has a bold personality and follows her heart and beliefs.

About her role, the actress said, “I decided to do the drama, because of the director and the writer. The story is deep and because of my character. It's been a while since i've done a character like this, so I hope I can portray Jo Hae Woo's feelings well.”

As for the male leading role, there is no word on Kim Nam Gil yet, as he still is considering his participation in the drama.

It was also said, that Go Hara from girl group Kara, has also received an offer to appear in the drama as the male leading role's sister. She is also currently looking into it.

“Shark” will talk about a man, who's family was destroyed by the family of the woman he loves. He then is pursued that same family. He had to change his face and identity, and will take revenge on the family, while dealing with the dilema of revenge or love.

The drama is set to start on May 27th, after “The God of The Work Place” finish its run.
