The upcoming KBS drama, "Heaven's Order," tells the story of an innocent man, whose life is ruined by a poisonous plot.

Choi Won is an herbal doctor who treats members of the royal family. The talented physician and single father, played by Lee Dong Wook, is not particularly interested in achieving fame or success. He simply wants to practice his craft and care for his daughter, who suffers from an incurable disease.

Through no fault of his own, Choi Won is implicated in a plot to poison King Injong. The doctor is accused of treason and must run away to save his life. He is forced to live as a fugitive.

The focus of his life becomes clearing his name and finding a cure for his terminally ill daughter, Choi Rang, played by Kim Yoo Buin. For years, the hardworking widower has tenderly cared for the little girl, making time for such chores as braiding her hair.

At work, a female doctor, Hong Da In, serves as his assistant. Played by Song Ji Hyo, she continues to stand by him when he is accused and helps to clear his name. Song Ji Hyo, who played the ballerina first love of the prince in "Princess Hours" and the queen in movie "A Frozen Flower," has earned rave reviews from fellow cast members for her work in this drama. A spokesperson on the set said that she never stops being her character even when the camera stops.

The 24-episode historical thriller also stars Yoon Jin Yi as a bandit's daughter. The actress learned horseback riding specially for the role. It also stars 2AM's Im Seulong as the Crown Prince Lee Ho, a royal whose experiences have taught him to trust no one. Phillip Choi plays the hero's friend and fellow physician while Song Jong Ho is the man who must pursue the fugitive doctor.

Yoon Jin Yi was last seen as Im Meara in "A Gentleman's Dignity." Im Seulong appeared in "Dream High" and "Personal Taste." Phillip Choi was seen as Park Hyung Il in "The Empress" and Song Jong Ho is a runway model, who debuted n "Answer Me, 1997."

Lee Jin Seo, a former actor, best known for his portrayal of historical characters, will direct the series. Choi Min Gi is the screenwriter.
