"Dad, Where Are You Going?" Yoon Hoo's Touching Story Created from Scratch

"Dad, Where Are You Going?" Singer Yoon Min Soo's son Yoon Hoo tries to cheer up his father when he gets chocked up by the memories of his dead father.

Yoon Hoo, the 8-year-old boy featured as one of the children of the MBC TV show "Dad, Where Are You Going?" has been gaining an incredible amount of popularity. Yoon Hoo drew attention from viewers with his precocious ability to consider others before himself.

Viewers fell in love with Yoon Hoo at the first glance. In the first episode, Yoon Hoo tries to cheer up a crying boy on the show, who is actually older than he is, when the boy has to stay at a broken down house for the night. Yoon Hoo even offers him to trade his house. People were touched by this little boy's heart.

Yoon Hoo melted the hearts of his fans in February when he remembered a painful memory of the time his parents were arguing in front of him. He speaks of the experience without much emotion. When his father Yoon Min Soo promises him that they will never fight in front of Yoon Hoo again, Yoon Hoo pats his dad on the back as though he is proud.

Also, the episode of "Dad, Where Are You Going?" that aired on March 24 featured Yoon Hoo's exceptional ability to use his words to comfort his father. Yoon Min Soo and Yoon Hoo wake up late in the morning and begin preparing breakfast. For some reason, Yoon Min Soo seemed to be very deep in thought and sad. It turns out, one of the ingredients had been his dead father's favorite food.

Noticing that his father is not himself, the 8-year-old Yoon Hoo begins to speak about his grandfather he has only seen in photographs.

Yoon Hoo says, "But you're not alone dad. Grandmother is still here" and began to think of a story on the spot.

Yoon Hoo begins, "A long time ago, there was a son named Yoon Min Soo. Yoon Sam Joon grandfather adored his son but got sick one day and died. Then the son suddenly went to somebody's birthday party and it said that it was Min Ji's (Yoon Hoo's mother) birthday party. Min Ji picked Yoon Min Soo. They stayed close and got married. And then the mom gave birth to a baby and named him Yoon Hoo and the father, mother and baby lived happily ever after."

The 30 years of Yoon Min Soo's life was organized into a story that was only a few seconds.

Then he caused a burst of laughter when he named his story, "Give Birth to Baby".
