In "Bluebird House" Jung Won Joong resigned after twenty eight years of work.

On the 38th episode of KBS2 weekend drama "Bluebird House" (script Park Pil Joo, director Ji Byung Hyun) broadcast on June 28th, Kang Jae Chul (played by Jung Won Joong) confessed to Kang Young Joo (played by Kyung Soo Jin) and Oh Min Ja (played by Song Ok Sook) that his career was coming to an end.  With that, he confessed that he was quitting his position at the bank.

Kang Jae Chul called Kang Young Joo and Oh Min Ja.  He had a cake with candles on it and said, "Let's blow this out together."

Oh Min Ja said, "Well it's not me and it's not Young Joo.  Your birthday passed a bit too."  With that, she was very startled about the surprise cake.

Kang Jae Chul calmed down and said, "This is to commemorate ending my bank position. Thanks for putting up with a husband, a father like me.  Now you're going to have to be a bit more comfortable and sustain yourself."  With that, Oh Min Ja also felt sorry saying, "What's it a big deal if I feel less comfortable."  As the family transitioned into Kang Jae Chul's retirement stages, they shifted into a new mentality.
