"Gu Family Book" Lee Seung Gi and Bae Suzy, Their Fateful First Meeting Foretold

"Gu Family Book" Lee Seung Gi and Bae Suzy fatefully meet for the very first time.

The 3rd episode of the MBC drama "Gu Family Book" featured the Buddhist monk So Jung (Kim Hee Won) predicting the fateful meeting of Dam Yeo Wool (Bae Suzy) and Choi Kang Chi (Lee Seung Gi) in the future.

Dam Yeo Wool asks the monk to help her find her the love of her life. After reading her palm, the monk says that she does not have any special man that has been connected to her. The monk continues, "If you can avoid it, it is a meeting that you want to avoid. You can avoid any type of meeting if you keep rejecting it."

When Dam Yeo Wool appears to be in disbelief, the monk tells her, "One of my close friends ended up dying after meeting a person he must have avoided. There is no other way but to avoid it."

Disappointed, Dam Yeo Wool says, "Are you telling me to live all alone until the day I die?" and begins to turn away. The monk adds, "He will have good character. If you wait patiently, a good person will come to you. Somebody you meet under a tree on the night of the crescent moon will be like water and fire. Whoever you meet in this occasion must be avoided."

That night, Dam Yeo Wool runs into Choi Kang Chi, who had fallen into the trap of Yoon (Kim Hee Jung). Dam Yeo Wool saves Choi Kang Chi's life.

Was this meeting fatefully planned or will it become like water and fire as the monk had said?
