Fans of Choi Si Won may not have long to wait before they can see him in a small screen role. The Super Junior member-turned-actor is currently discussing a possible part in the drama "She Was Beautiful" also known as "She Was Pretty."

If he takes the role, it will be his first drama appearance in almost three years. Although Choi did have a cameo appearance in "Masked Prosecutor" this year, his last k-drama appearance was in the 2012 drama "The King of Dramas." His agency, SM Entertainment, confirmed that he received the offer for 'She Was Beautiful.'

"Choi Si Won received a casting offer for the MBC Wednesday-Thursday series 'She Was Beautiful' and is positively reviewing it."

The drama tells the story of Kim Hye Jin, played by Hwang Jung Eum. Kim Hye Jin was once the pampered daughter of a rich family. That meant she had everything she needed to look her best; visits to the dermatologist and the hair salon, the most flattering clothes, and an easy life without worries. Then her family failed at business and she had to face some harsh realities, none of which are easy on her looks.

By contrast, Ji Sung Joon was an overweight kid, who lost a lot of weight and now is considered very attractive. Both Park Seo Joon an Hwang Jung Eum are currently finalizing the details of their drama appearance. Park and Hwang previously played adoptive siblings in "Kill Me, Heal Me."

Go Soon Hee plays Man Ha Ri, a beautiful accomplished hotelier, who has no problem attracting men.

The role that Choi Si Won is currently considering is that of fashion magazine editor Kim Si Hyuk. Kim is an attractive man with many desirable qualities and appealing talents.

According to the drama synopsis, Kim Hye Jin meets her first love. But is it Kim Si Hyuk or Ji Sung Joon? The drama plot offers plenty of opportunities to weight the value of judging someone by their outward appearance versus judging them by their character.

It would be hard to believe if Choi Si Won played a character that was not considered attractive. Choi Si Won ranked second on the 'Most Handsome Faces of 2014" list rated by the online entertainment site TC Candler.

This year the handsome star not only appears in a Chinese drama, titled "Billion Dollar Heir," but he will also be making a big screen comeback, appearing in three films, "Dragon Blade," "Helios" and "To The Fore." Earlier this year he appeared in a Chinese spinoff of the Korean variety show "We Got Married" with Chinese supermodel Liu Wen.

The drama will follow "The Scholar Who Walks The Night" in September.
