Just when Dam Yeo Wool is looking away, one of the men goes at her with his knife. Choi Kang Chi blocks the blow with his own arm. Right then, Dam Yeo Wool gets a flashback of an event in her childhood.

When they were both young, Dam Yeo Wool was in danger of getting attacked by a big dog when Choi Kang Chi appeared and blocked the bite with his own arm. Even when blood was dripping down his arm, he had told her "I'm okay." He had also told her, "Playing in the mountains is my duty. There is nothing I am scared of in the mountains. However, when a giant spider hung down from a tree Choi Kang Chi had jumped in terror. Dam Yeo Wool had laughed at him and Choi Kang Chi had said, "Don't make fun of me" and "If you make fun of me again I'm just going to make you my wife." Even as a child, Dam Yeo Wool liked the thought and smiled at him.

Even though Choi Kang Chi had basically proposed to her in the past, he still has no idea who Dam Yeo Wool is.
