Amal Alamuddin has gained prominence in Hollywood as the woman who finally snagged George Clooney, who used to be one of the entertainment industry's most eligible bachelors.

These few months, the human rights lawyer has been spotted in various red carpet events, arm-in-arm with George Clooney.

However, there are rumors that Amal Alamuddin is allegedly thinking about being known in the entertainment industry other than being an actor's wife. Will she soon be appearing in "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills"?

According to a previous report by Daily Mail, Amal Alamuddin is purportedly on the short list to replace Donald Trump at "The Celebrity Apprentice."

"As well as the cachet of being married to George, she is also a highly respected figure in her field," an insider reportedly told Sunday Express, as quoted by Daily Mail.

"Since she rarely says anything in public, there is still something of an air of mystery to her. We think she could be a perfect fit."

But how does George Clooney feel about his wife penetrating the showbiz industry?

"He is all for Amal pursuing her professional life any way she decides," a source close to the Hollywood A-lister said.

"They both want children, probably sooner rather than later, but by establishing their bases on either side of the Atlantic and very much streamlining their lives, a TV debut on a show based in New York might very much appeal to Amal," the report added.

Some speculated that a career in the entertainment industry is what George Clooney's wife allegedly wanted from the start.

"...You have to acknowledge the genius that is Amal Alamuddin," Celeb Dirty Laundry reported. "I'm not saying she's a great legal mind - far from - but she seems to possess some sort of cunning that allowed her to rope in George Clooney where multitudes of women before her failed, and sell herself as a top human rights barrister when she's pretty much a glorified entry-level lawyer. And now a prime time TV hosting gig? What's next, 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?'"
