Park Bo Young has acted for 10 years but she never had an onscreen kiss before she appeared in "Oh My Ghostess."

After the drama about ghostly possession ended, both Park and her co-star Jo Jung Suk were interviewed and discussed the kiss that helped bump the drama's ratings.  In an interview with the Korean media outlet OSEN, Park said the drama was fun to make. It was especially fun because her male co-stars treated her so well.  But the script had more intimacy than she was used to in previous projects. At first it shocked her and she worried about the kiss scene.

"Jo Jung Suk was concerned about it too when I told him I'd never done it before," said Park. "I was fun though. I knew he wasn't going to fall for me anyway. I decided it would be better to be more outgoing about it because Yang Ki Nam would never fall for me."

How did Jo Jung Suk feel about his part in the kiss? In a separate interview with OSEN the actor said he found it easy to work with the actress.

"I think I was able to converse and act better when I was with Park Bo Young," said Jo. "She reciprocated well and I was able to trust her. The filming atmosphere was very good too, and I was happy whenever I heard the director say 'cut.'"

Still, he also felt pressure when it came to filming the kiss scene.

"I would be lying if I said I didn't feel pressured when I heard that it was her first kiss scene. I felt like her kiss scene needed to come out well because it was her first one. I tried to go on without letting it bother me, but I guess Park Bo Young sensed it. She told me she did. I just got absorbed into the storyline and kissed her just like how my character was feeling."

The script said to put her on the table and kiss her.

"I thought about it and said to her, 'Let me hold you up for a sec,' and did the scene while having her look down at me. I thought that would make the scene prettier."

After the kiss the director did not yell cut. Park was determined to make the kiss scene memorable so she asked Jo is he was tired and if they could kiss one more time. And that second take helped make the scene memorable.

Jo was full of praise for the actress, who he says has natural "aegyo."

"She's just a lovely person in general. Her smile, her laugh, it's all cute. There are people who are naturally cute, and Park Bo Young is one of them."

Jo Jung Suk was last seen in the drama "You're The Best Lee Soon Shin" and the films "the Face Reader" and "My Love My Bride." He can soon be seen playing a reporter in the film "Journalist."

Park Bo Young appeared in "The Silenced," "Scandal Makers" and "A Werewolf Boy." She can also be seen in the 2015 film "Collective Invention." Before "Oh My Ghostess," she had not appeared in a drama since 2008.
