"When a Man Falls in Love" Is she a cheater or is she just going through the process of elimination?

May 16, an episode of the MBC drama "When a Man Falls in Love" featured Han Tae Sang (Song Seung Hun) falling into a deep and dark slump after finding out about the relationship between Seo Mi Do (Shin Se Kyung) and Lee Jae Hee (Yeon Woo Jin).

Seo Mi Do had always been very upset about the fact that Han Tae Sang never listened to her or even gave her a chance to speak. This is one of the reasons Seo Mi Do couldn't completely open up to Han Tae Sang since they were not having any functional conversations. Regardless however, the only person with the power to take control of this messy situation had always been Seo Mi Do.

Even though Seo Mi Do wants to leave Han Tae Sang, she is unable to actually do so. She uses the excuse that he is too possessive and will never let her go.

Seo Mi Do is a character that wants both love and success. Her dream gave her a chance to escape from Han Tae Sang's reach but she does not leave in the fear of starting from rock bottom. Even while she is with Han Tae Sang, she does not embrace his presence in her life even when she takes advantage of everything that came along with being his girlfriend. This is because she knows that she does not truly love him. Seo Mi Do is not satisfied with Han Tae Sang but is afraid of going to Lee Jae Hee.

Seo Mi Do's character is an exaggerated representation of the women in today's society who are very confused about what they want in life. Even though her confusion and insecurities are understandable, Seo Mi Do's image is slowly changing to that of a cheater.

So far, Seo Mi Do has not put in any effort into any of the two men. She hasn't even put in that much effort to achieving her dreams either. Does Seo Mi Do even know what she really wants?
