Who's hot and who's not? That question could be answered by the list of actors who were nominated for the 2015 Korea Drama Awards.

The awards ceremony honors excellence in television. The Korea Drama Festival established the awards ceremony in 2007 and it takes place annually in October. To be eligible for this year's award, a drama must have aired between October 2014 and September 2 015. It includes some currently running dramas.

Nominees are not limited to the major broadcasting networks, KBS, MBC abd SBS, but also include cable channels.

On September 9, the Korean media outlet Naver TV reported the list of candidates.

The actors who are up for the Grand Prize or Daesang include Ji Sung for "Kill Me, Heal Me," Kim Soo Hyun, for his performance in "Producer," Cha Seung Won for "Hwajung," Joo Won for "Yong Pal" and Yoo Dong Geun for "What Happens To My Family."

All of the nominees are men this year, which is unusual. Last year's Grand Prize went to Kim Soo Hyun for "You Who Came From The Stars" but the year before it went to Lee Bo Young for "I Can Hear Your Voice" and "My Daughter Seo Young."

Top Excellence Award nominees in the actor category include Park Yoo Chun for his role in "The Girl Who Sees Smells," Park Hae Jin for "Bad Guys," Lee Jong Suk for "Pinocchio," Im Si Wan for "Misaeng" and Yoo Joon Sang for "Heard It Through The Grapevine."

Last year Kim Jae Joong won for his role in the drama "Triangle" and the year before the prize was shared by Jung Woong In, for his role in "I Can Hear Your Voice," and Lee Jung Jin, for "A Hundred Year Legacy."

Top Excellence Award nominees in the actress category include Kim Tae Hee for her role in "Yong Pal," Kim Hee Sun of "Angry Mom," Park Shin Hye for "Pinocchio," Jang Na Ra for her part in "I Remember You" and Hwang Jung Eum for her role in "Kill Me, Heal Me."

In 2014 Oh Yeon So won for "Jang Bo Ri Is Here" and the year before Jo Yoon Hee won for "Nine: Nine Time Travels."

Contenders for the best drama include "Misaeng," "Yong Pal," "Kill Me, Heal Me," "Producer" and "Heard It Through The Grapevine."

In 2014 "You Who Came From The Stars" won Best Drama" and the year before it was "My Daughter Seo Young."
