Fashion is not only for those stunning model with slim, thin, perfect figures and body shapes. This year New York Fashion week 2015 has models with several disabilities or "With Special Abilities." The FTL Moda show featured several models with disabilities, including Rebekah Marine, 28, a car saleswoman from New Jersey who was born without a right arm. She is proudly called the "bionic model" because of her prosthesis, AFP reported.

FTL Moda is a production company that has been one of the pioneers in organising such show. The show was arranged in association with Christopher and Dana Reeves Foundation and a British Group called Models of Diversities. The British group campaigns for diversity in the fashion industry. The most famous model for the FTL Moda show was 18-year old, Madeline Stuart, with Down syndrome, said Mighty.com.

Stuart has taken the fashion world by storm in past one year itself. Manifesta and Living Dead Clothing have already signed contracts with her. Moreover, she is the face of Glossi Girl "Beauty is..." campaign. She has also had one-of-a-kind doll made after her. She has launched her own handbag line with a fashion company called EverMaya. FTL Moda advertised their show on the New York Fashion week with #FashionFreeFromConfines with Stuart in the frame.

New York Fashion Week 2015 also buzzed with much glam-sham on its fourth day with Kendall Jenner leading the runway at Diane Von Furstenberg show. Some of the other top models of the fashion world like Karlie, Jourdan, Gigi, Bella were present at the Diane von Furstenberg, said International Business Times.

At the Victoria Beckham show where breezy, surf-inspired separates came down the catwalk. David and Brooklyn Beckham were also the special guests in the front row. One of the striking shows was from Prabal Gurung that started with singing monks. They depicted the moment of peacefulness for Nepal, Gurung's home country, where one of the most disastrous earthquakes had hit earlier this year, said Vogue.
