Ji Sung recently wrapped up filming of a supernatural short film that is tentatively called, "The Vampire Lives Next Door." His role in the avant-garde project, which was confirmed by Namoo Actors.

According to a report published by Korea Times on September 15, "The Vampire Lives Next Door" is an eccentric focusing on a girl who drowned in a lake and her interactions with a vampire living in a morgue.

Namoo Actors released photos depicted Ji Sung as the quirky vampire. In the stills, he resembles the macabre image of Hollywood star Johnny Depp as he lurks through the stalls of the mortuary and interacts with the coroner.

His role in the short film follows the success of the psychological drama, "Kill Me, Heal Me." While Ji has appeared on several variety shows including "Three Meals a Day," he has yet to designate his next K-Drama project.

Directed by Sang Soo Im, 'The Vampire Lives Next Door' is scheduled to premiere at the Gala Presentation for the 20th Anniversary of the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). The short film is included in a program called Color of Asia- Masters, which highlights renown Asian auteurs from China, Korea, Japan, and Thailand.

Sang is noted for his directorial debut with the 1998 film, "Girls' Night Out." He is an experimental filmmaker whose credits include "The President's Last Bang" and "The Housemaid."

BIFF is one of the top film events in Korean and Asian entertainment. The festival will be held from October 1 through 10.
