'Gu Family Book' Bae Suzy and Lee Seung Gi's Tearful Farewell

"Gu Family Book" Bae Suzy and Lee Seung Gi kiss for the very last time.

June 25, the final episode of the MBC drama "Gu Family Book" featured Dam Yeo Wool (Bae Suzy) falling to her death after getting shot while trying to save Choi Kang Chi (Lee Seung Gi).

Dam Yeo Wool asks Choi Kang Chi to take a walk. They sit by a lake while they lean on each other, holding hands.

When Choi Kang Chi reveals to Dam Yeo Wool that he remembers their first meeting as children, she replies, "Then why didn't you say anything?" Choi Kang Chi answers, "Because you were already very meaningful to me. Since we're talking about this now, will you marry me?"

Dam Yeo Wool replies, "Even when I can't even cook? And I don't even know how to sew" and begins to cry. Choi Kang Chi also begins crying and says, "Will you marry me?"

Dam Yeo Wool holds Choi Kang Chi's face in her hands and says, "Don't cry Kang Chi. I want to be a happy memory for you, not a sad one. I want to be your laughter, not your tears."

She continues, "I want you to feel happy when you think of me. That's my third wish."

Choi Kang Chi tells her, "Let's meet again. I'll be waiting. We have to meet again. I love you." He then kisses her.

Dam Yeo Wool closes her eyes after telling Choi Kang Chi that she loves him.
