Last Of The Lovers Cast For "Secret Love"

The last of the male actors for the five part series "Secret Love" has been cast and the director's final choice is Yeo Woo Jin, who played the conflcted character Jang Hyun Jin in the melodrama "When A Man Loves."

The five part series from Kim Kyu Tae, the producer of "That Winter The Wind Blows" started the casting process by signing on all five members of the girl group KARA, one group member for each episode of the five-part series.

KARA's Gyuri, Hara, Seungyeon, Jiyoung and Nicole will each star in one episode of the drama, which explores the different kinds of love, including one-sided love, first love and love gone very wrong.

After the girl group members were cast, a representative of the production company issued a statement.

"The collaboration of PD Kim Kyu Tae, who is known for his excellent choreography and the popular girl group KARA, is already receiving a very enthusiastic response from fans overseas. As the male co-stars cast are also popular in Asia, this will open up a new market in Hallyu dramas," said the statement.

Ji Chang Wook, who starred in "Five Fingers" and "Bachelor's Vegetable Shop," will play Park Gyuri's love interest. 

The actors have already been seen filming together on Jeju Island. They were working on the episode "Have You Ever Had Coffee with An Angel?"

In this episode, Gyuri plays a travel agency employee who has only ever loved one man. Ji Chang Wook is her guardian angel. He thought his angel character was charming and enjoyed working with Gyuri, who is currently starring in "Nail Shop Paris."

"She has such a good personality," said Ji Chang Wook. "She's so laid back and we had a lot of fun."

Kim Young Kwang, who appeared in "Love Rain" and "Birth Secret," was cast in an episode with Goo Hara.

Goo Hara's episode is about a college student who is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After her diagnosis, she decides to check off one of the items on her bucket list by taking a trip. On that trip she meets Kim Young Gwang's character and falls in love. The couple filmed a scene in Ilsan and stills show them kissing and hugging

Yeo Woo Jin will play a photographer and Han Seung Yeon's love interest.

Bae Soo Bin of "Brilliant Legacy" and "49 Days" and Lee Kwang Soo of "Goddess of Fire" and "Dating Agency: Cyrano" play the other male leads but little is known about which KARA member they will costar with and what aspect of love their episode will focus on.

For now, it's a secret.
