Idols Going To the Military Should Take After Super Junior
As an adult male of Korea, it is impossible to avoid the mandatory military conscription. For stars who are very popular in their mid-20s, these stars are not an exception. With the start of H.O.T., Sehchs Kichs, Shinwha, and other first generation idols as a start, other idols such as Super Junior, DBSk, JYJ and modern singers are also going from an "oppa" to a "military man" image.
In the group Super Junior, members have been entering and getting discharged from the military for five years. With the entering of Kang In as a start in 2010, there have been the members Kim Hee Chul, Lee Teuk, Ye Sung, Shin Dong, Sung Min and thus six members who are either in the military or has been discharged. As there are a lot of members, there are still several left. Eun Hyuk, Dong Hae, and Shi Won will be going in the military in October and November, in this order. First, Eun Hyuk will be entering on October 13th to the army and Dong Hae will be entering the police services on October 15th. Finally, Choi Shi Won will also be entering as a police member on November 19th and will be entering with DBSK and Choi Kang Chang Min. Kyu Hyun is preparing to go in the military next year, accorindg to other sources.
