Is A Pink's Jung Eun Ji The Best Female Acting Idol? [POLL]
KBS2's "Entertainment Relay" named Jung Eun Ji as the number one female acting idol, with the "Sassy, Go Go" star beating out IU and Miss A's Suzy.
On October 3, "Entertainment Relay" praised the A Pink star, during her appearance on the program in support of her upcoming cheerleading drama. A trending report published by Newsen revealed the results of the poll that was presented during the segment.
"Jung Eun Ji won Best Actress," said the host, while revealing the top acting idols, as determined by a recent survey. "IU is in second place and Suzy is in third place."
"Entertainment Relay" featured the popular star as part of an exclusive interview to promote, "Sassy, Go Go." The series, also known as "Cheer Up!" stars Jung as Kang Yeon Doo, a cheerleader who struggles with the academic pressures of the Korean educational system.
The 22-year-old Busan native captivated audiences with her breakout role of H.O.T fan girl, Sung Shi Won, in tvN's "Reply 1997."
She followed the iconic character with her portrayal of Moon Hee Sun in the SBS melodrama, "That Winter, The Wind Blows."
In 2014, she led the cast of "Trot Lovers" as Choi Choon Hee, an aspiring K-pop star who renewed the classic vocals of trot.
Her comparisons to IU and Suzy have been met with mixed reaction. IU and Suzy are widely considered top acting idols, following their roles in the 2011 KBS2 series, "Dream High."
IU recently reunited with Kim Soo Hyun for the KBS2 weekend drama, "Producer," while Suzy will return to drama opposite Kim Woo Bin in an upcoming romantic comedy.
