'Crash Landing on You' Actress Son Ye Jin Graces Elle Magazine's December Cover
Famous actress Son Ye Jin looks graceful and sophisticated as she represents the fashion brand "Bride And You" in the December issue of Elle Magazine Korea! In an interview and a pictorial, the renowned actress opened up about her career and shared her thoughts on possibly taking on a Hollywood film project and many more.
The "Crash Landing On You" star also expressed her undying passion for acting, saying, "though there were instances that I incidentally took a hiatus, I have rarely taken a break intentionally." She continued, "this is something that I am proud of, and it just shows how passionate I am with what I do. I'm also grateful for constantly being offered new projects."
She also expressed that there were times wherein she also felt down, tired, and exhausted, but luckily, she overcame it through her projects.
Previously, it was disclosed that Son Ye Jin was offered to star in the Hollywood film titled "Cross." She admitted, "honestly, at first I really don't have the guts to try something new like this, and besides, I'm already overwhelmed with Korean projects. Also, I felt scared about whether or not I could be able to act smoothly speaking a foreign language."
"However, I started to realize that I would never be able to try something like this ever again. If I get a great opportunity, I will happily try my best at it. I have a feeling that I'll get a lot out of it as I take it on," she continued.
Son Ye Jin's much-awaited Hollywood debut will be in 2022. She'll also star alongside actor Sam Worthington (Avatar). The film's shooting is scheduled to take place at the beginning of April 2021 in Hwaseong City, South Korea. It was reported that the production of the said film will cost around 36 Billion Korean won (approx. 30 Million US dollars).

South Korean actress Son Ye-jin was born on January 11, 1982. The 38-year-old actress became widely recognized for her portrayal in romance-themed films and television series, namely: "The Classic" (2003), "Summer Scent" (2003), "A Moment to Remember" (2004), and "April Snow" (2005). She was also highly praised for her excellent performance in films with varying genres such as" Alone in Love" (2006), "My Wife Got Married" (2008), "The Pirates (2014)," "The Truth Beneath," and "The Last Princess." Notably, the actress garnered worldwide attention through her leading roles in romantic dramas such as "Something in the Rain" (2018) and "Crash Landing on You" (2019-2020).
Also, her portrayal of a rich heiress who falls in love with a North Korean commission officer in "Crash Landing On You" was a massive hit, and is considered the third-highest-rated Korean drama in cable television history.
