Catch a Glimpse of Yoon Jong Hoon and Kim So Yeon's Tense Confrontation in 'Penthouse'

The ongoing hit drama "The Penthouse: War in Life" unveiled some sneak peek photos of what's about to happen in the upcoming episode!

The series showcases the story of greed, betrayal, and revenge. The story will center on a woman who will do whatever it takes to achieve her goal of being part of high society and become known as the "queen" in the 100th-floor penthouse in Gangnam. This is the symbol of success for her. It will also feature women who will try their best to protect their families and themselves.

Lee Ji Ah stars as Shim Soo Ryun, a woman who was born into a wealthy family. She has become an elegant woman in high society and is considered the Penthouse apartment's queen. She is married to a successful businessman and a real estate mogul named Joo Dan Tae, portrayed by Uhm Ki Joon. Meanwhile, Kim So Yun, starred by Chun Seo Jin, is another rich woman who was born with money and power. However, she is an arrogant lady. She is married to an ambitious chief surgeon at a general hospital named Ha Yoon Chul, played by Yoon Jong Hoon.

Lastly, Eugene stars Oh Yoon Hee, a woman who was born from a lower-class family. She strives to make her children successful and wants to be part of the upper-class society for her children's sake.

In the previous episode, Chun Seo Jin caught the viewers' attention when she handed over the divorce papers to Ha Yoon Cheol (Yoon Jong Hoon). Along with the divorce papers is her demand of 70 billion won (approximately $6.4 million) in alimony. The viewers were also shocked by the psychotic scene. She intentionally left her father dying on the stairs and hurriedly went inside her studio to play the piano and just went crazy, revealing her darker side.

The newly released stills feature a tense confrontation between Chun Seo Jin and Ha Yoon Cheol where Seo Jin seems to be calling someone on the phone, unaware that Yoon Cheol is just behind, observing her. Then Ha Yoon Cheol slowly approaches her suspiciously. Chun Seo Jin makes a firm gaze at him, hiding her guilt and avoiding the discomfort that she might be feeling.

Viewers are left to wonder if whether or not Chun Seo Jin will be able to keep her deepest secret - that she left her father to die - hidden.

"The Penthouse: War in Life" production team complimented the two actors for their amazing acting and expressed that Kim So Yeon and Yoon Jong Hoon's high-quality performance always surprises the viewers. Their excellent acting gives us an idea of what is to come in the next episode.
