Netflix has a wide range of genres when it comes to video contents. As one of the most used online streaming platforms today, Netflix released various movies and series from different cultures where almost 150 countries have access to it. 

Since the pandemic happened, most of the people have become used to staying home and the leisure time that best fits for almost everyone is to chill and watch anything new on Netflix. 

With all the variety of shows produced in the past months, viewers engaged themselves in watching new programs that have unique concepts.

For the record, Korean dramas and movies are the most viewed shows on Netflix.  

Squid Game Hailed the Highest Scored K-Drama on Netflix Beating Sweet Home

In a recent report released by Netflix, the newly launched Kdrama Squid Game managed to break the record for Korean dramas within three days after its world premiere.

Kdrama Squid Game gained an overall score of 562, trouncing the mystery-horror series Sweet Home (headlined by Song Kang), which received 428 pints during its run.

Not just that but the new thriller Kdrama Squid Game was able to beat the famous Spanish series La casa de papel, popularly known as Money Heist.

Now, Squid Game is currently the highest scored Korean drama on Netflix.

Packed with new and veteran actors, the series was able to fight for its spot on the rank and trends list.

Park Hae Soo and Lee Jung Jae, enormously known Korean actors, made an impressive performance in the show.

Starlets Jung Yo Han and Wi Ha Joon also became scene-stealers for their fresh acting.

Netflix Kdrama Squid Game also gained more attention after knowing that Goblin actor Gong Yoo and Mr. Sunshine star Lee Byung Hun made cameos in the series.

The Squid Game cast showed their dedication during the filming production. Their intense and challenging scenes were seen in the stills provided by Netflix.

Lee Jung Jae's on point emotions and the teamwork of the whole cast were also captured.
