22 Jump Street Spoilers: Brad Pitt Does A Cameo! Ice Cube Returns! Phil Lord Says ‘He Does Some Crazy Stuff In The Movie…It’s Really Ridiculous!’

People are excited to see Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill team up again in the sequel of their action comedy flick, and here's some 22 Jump Street spoilers that will surely get you all hyped up some more.

Fans of the original TV series 21 Jump Street, which made Johnny Depp a household name, were quite skeptical when Phil Lord and Chris Miller decided to make a film about the show. The big question was, "Who will play Officer Tom Hanson?" Die-hard Depp fans believe that he is the only actor capable of portraying that role.

Instead of recreating the TV series, the filmmakers decided to create new characters. Channing Tatum stars as Jenko (popular high school jock) and Jonah Hill plays Schmidt (a dork). After graduation, they joined the police force and were given an undercover assignment that led to riotous adventures.

In an interview with Movie Fanatic, Phil Lord and Chris Miller revealed a few 22 Jump Street spoilers. When asked how they felt about the upcoming movie, Lord said: "We're pumped up!" He added, "It's a lot of pressure - people are really excited!"

Miller explained, "We've had a lot of success by having really low expectations going in on everything from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs to the first 21 Jump Street to doing The LEGO Movie."

He admitted, "People are kind of skeptical and then we can coast in and exceed their low expectations." Lord added, "It's harder when it's a sequel to make people skeptical." But he is confident about one of the stars in the movie. He said, "Ice Cube does some crazy stuff in the movie. It's really ridiculous!" Miller added, "We shot a lot of funny stuff and I hope it comes together well."

Aside from the return of Ice Cube, fans will also be delighted to see a cameo appearance of award-winning actor Brad Pitt. According to RTE, the 50-year old actor was convinced by Jonah Hill to play the role of a university librarian in the sequel.

Jenko and Schmidt stumble upon Pitt in the campus and he did some offbeat acting. An insider told RadarOnline, "The scene is very funny and the guys had a great time doing it." The source added, "Brad was a great sport and the producers were thrilled that he took part."
