Fans may be seeing 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star Kendall Jenner acting quite soon.
A source told Grazie Magazine that 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' director Sam Taylor-Wood is a fan of the 18-year-old model and is eager to cast her for the franchise's next instalment.
"[Sam]'s fascinated by her and expressed interest in her appearing in the first film but it didn't happen," the source revealed to the magazine.
Kim Kardashian West's half sister may have passed up the opportunity due to her busy schedule appearing in New York and Paris' fashion weeks as well as making her own name in the industry.
However, it looks like Kendall Jenner's acting career will be taking off soon.
"[Universal] put in a call to her people and arranged a meeting last month, which went really well," the insider continued. "It wouldn't be a major role but would certainly be a foot in the door of Hollywood."
The budding model, however, has reportedly made her own demand for the film as well. The source continued that the young fashionista will "only sign on once Sam Taylor-Wood is confirmed as the director."
According to the Daily Mail, Jenner debuted as a fashion model last New York Fashion Week when she walked for Marc Jacobs with bleached eyebrows and a bob cut.
The reality star won't be the first celebrity to make a career move from walking the catwalk to acting for movies or TV shows. Cameron Diaz, Kate Upton, Rose Huntington Whitely and Milla Jovovich are just some of the models who made the big leap into acting.
Based off of E.L. James' erotic novel, 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' stars Jamie Dornan as the BDSM-inclined Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele. The first movie is set to hit cinemas on Valentines' Day next year.
Will Kendall Jenner acting for the 'Fifty Shades' sequel prove to be an excellent career move or should she just stick to modelling?
