Model-actress Lee Sung Kyung made her way to mainstream media through the drama "It's Okay, It's Love." What does she have to say about the drama that launched her to success?

Lee Sung Kyung was recently interviewed by the news portal "Newsen," and she talked about her workmates in the drama "It's Okay, It's Love," in particular, actress Gong Hyo Jin.

When asked who her role model is, she answered without hesitation, "Gong Hyo Jin."

She explained, "I was enamoured by how she acted as the doctor Ji Hae Soo. Also, she was such a professional by enduring her accident throughout the drama. She was probably hurt, but she never showed it to anyone, and acted as if everything was alright."

In addition, she shared, "She went as far as putting skin-colored plaster on her wounds to hide her pain from everyone so we wouldn't worry. When I saw that part of her, I realized that I wanted to be like her as an actress."

Lee Sung Kyung also said, "I though Gong Hyo Jin was intimidating, but it was far from it in real life. She is given the nickname 'Gong-vely' (Gong + lovely) because she's a lovely person. When it comes to being an actress, she's very professional, but as a person, she's innocent and kind."

On being part of the "It's Okay, It's Love" production, she shared, "Without a doubt, 'It's Okay, It's Love' is the biggest blessing I've received in my life. It gave me a chance to learn and grow, and everyone was so kind to me."

She further commented, "However, I was lacking in many things, and I feel apologetic towards not being able to give back to those who helped me. I will work harder to become successful and become someone they can be proud of."

Lee Sung Kyung portrayed the role of Oh So Nyeo, a problematic high school student.

"It's Okay, It's Love" broadcast its last episode on September 11.
