Valve's "Half Life 3" has been allegedly confirmed as "Half Life 3" is allegedy in development so that it could work for the Valve Vive VR headset.

Previously, Kotaku has reported that during their interview with Valve programmer, Jeep Barnett, he told them that they used "Half Life" assets to test out the Valve Vive VR Headset.

"We've said, 'Let's take some existing art and see how it fits, So yeah, we'll grab some headcrabs, we'll grab the machine guns from Half-Life, the rocket launcher-all those different fun things-and see how they play in VR. But right now, it's a tool for exploring the different kind of game designs we want to do," said Jeep Barnett to Kotaku.

And now, according to the report by The Motoring Crunch, Valve uploaded some information about "Half Life 3" on the Steam Database but has since been deleted it after gamers found the entry and spread it online.

"Valve unofficially made an announcement on the highly anticipated title. By unofficial, the confirmation was made through a leak by Valve on Steam. For those who are unaware of the havoc that is going on, Steam was updated yesterday and it saw the addition of App 323900. The amazing part is with the fact that App 33900 came out with Half Life 3's logo. This has got the fans buzzing loudly as for the first time ever; a leak from Half Life 3 actually came from Valve themselves. Of course, Valve was notified of the buzz and has hence removed the App from the listing," wrote The Motoring Crunch.

Meanwhile, Swedish retailer, Webhallen, has put up the pre-order page for "Half Life 3" on their website and the pre-order page for the game states that you would have to pay 449 kr or 53 usd to pre-order the game.
