It has been previously reported that the Janoskians members were not happy over YouTube's new policy which affected their videos.

Will the stars of "Janoskians: Untold And Untrue" no longer be seen on the video-sharing channel?

Fans of Beau, Luke and Jai Brooks , and James Yammouni and Daniel Sahyoune need not be alarmed.

According to the Janoskians members, their videos were not really blacklisted from Youtube, but were put under age restriction.

"Basically YouTube likes to put an age restriction on our videos," Jai said about the restriction, as quoted by BBC. "That's bad for us because that means the user has to sign in to be above the age of 18 to watch a video and we lose most of our views."

"It's almost like, we're being not blacklisted, but we've been flagged," James added. "So every time we do something there's always a core of people watching our videos."

According to Janoskians members, this move from YouTube management greatly affects their group because most of their market are teens, some of whom are below 18 years old.

YouTube explained the reason behind its decision to age-restrict the videos of the "Janoskians: Untold And Untrue" stars, stating that the video-sharing website is just doing its best to limit minors' exposure to "sensitive" content.

"While it might not seem fair to say you can't show something because of what viewers theoretically might do in response, we draw the line at content that's intended to incite violence or encourage dangerous, illegal activities that have an inherent risk of serious physical harm or death," YouTube's statement said.

"In addition to this, we are very sensitive to any harmful or dangerous content that involves minors."

Despite being age-restricted on Youtube, the members of the Australian group has only gotten more popular these past few months after the release of "Janoskians: Untold And Untrue" mockumentary.

"'Janoskians: Untold and Untrue' is the 'semi-true' story about the group's origins and culminates in their Wembley performance," Variety described the mockumentary.

"The unrated movie promises to take fans behind the scenes to see the boys come together, fight, make up and take the stage. It also features cameos including by social-media stars Nash Grier, Meg DeAngelis, as well as Kendall Schmidt (Big Time Rush), U.K. band the Vamps and Janina Gavankar ("True Blood")."
