Adam Levine's wife, Behati Prinsloo, may allegedly be relieved that Christina Aguilera is returning as a coach in "The Voice" next season to replace Gwen Stefani.

There have been previous speculations that Adam Levine is reportedly very close to the No Doubt singer especially after her divorce with Gavin Rossdale, and it's allegedly not sitting well with Behati Prinsloo.

And apparently, the Maroon 5 frontman's flirty ways isn't helping his wife trust him when he's on set with his "The Voice" co-mentor.

"Adam's acting like the same playboy he was before they wed, and that's a problem for his wife... She thinks it's disrespectful for him to flirt with other girls when he's married to her," a source previously told In Touch magazine, as quoted by Inquisitr.

According to sources, Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani indeed has a close connection as Maroon 5 and No Doubt even has the same manager Irving Azoff. However, there may not be any reason for Behati Prinsloo to be jealous.

An insider claimed that Gwen Stefani, who just split with her husband Gavin Rossendale, could indeed find new romance at the set of "The Voice" season 9 - but it's not the Maroon 5 frontman.

In fact, Adam Levine is reportedly the one who's persistent in teasing Gwen Stefani of a possible relationship with their "The Voice" season 9 co-mentor, Blake Shelton, who is also fresh from his divorce with Miranda Lambert.

Even if Adam and Gwen's relationship is purely platonic, some speculate that Christina Aguilera's return to the TV talent search could indeed placate the Maroon 5 singer's wife.

After all, Christina Aguilera has reportedly clashed with her "The Voice" colleagues in the past, including Adam Levine.

"She was really difficult to work with this season. Tensions between her and Adam were consistent, but she also just had a really bad attitude," a source close to "The Voice" production previously told Radar.

"She showed up late a lot, took forever for hair and makeup and was just very demanding."
