Miranda Lambert purportedly thought of the perfect way to get back at Blake Shelton for immediately moving on from their marriage and dating his "The Voice" co-mentor Gwen Stefani.

Miranda is allegedly planning to be a guest on "American Idol," which rivals "The Voice" as the most popular TV talent search in the US.

"Miranda is looking to do something with American Idol this season both by performing on the show and being a guest mentor during the inevitable Country Week. This would obviously be a dig at Blake and a big get for Idol," an insider told Hollywood Life.

It has been previously Miranda Lambert was allegedly dumbfounded by Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's confirmation that they are indeed dating.

Rumors that "The Voice" co-mentors are purportedly dating have been circulating ever since Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton filed for divorce, followed by news that Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale also called it quits.

Aside from the betrayal, Miranda is allegedly appalled by the timing of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's confirmation - right before the Country Music Awards, where she had to perform.

"She doesn't understand why they had to make things official that night," a source told Hollywood Life in a previous report. "It should have been her biggest night, but all she could think about was Blake being with Gwen. It was so insensitive - she was with his guy for a decade, and this is how he treats her."

According to the source, Miranda Lambert couldn't believe that her estranged husband got into a relationship with his "The Voice" co-mentor just a few months after they announced their divorce.

"The whole romance is eating Miranda up inside," the insider added. "Especially seeing how crazy Blake is about Gwen and how he has moved on so easily and so quickly."

Miranda Lambert's horrifying night turned out to be bittersweet, as she took home the Female Vocalist of the Year award, which was one of the most coveted CMA honors.

"A source tells E! News exclusively that while knowing Blake and Gwen are 'officially together' has been 'a bit hard to digest,' Miranda is making the most of single life and her success," E! Online reported.

According to the report, just as Blake Shelton has moved on with Gwen Stefani, so is Miranda trying to make the most out of her new beginning by focusing on her career.
