Dwayne Johnson And Girlfriend Lauren Hashian Expecting A Baby Girl: 'The World Needs One More Woman,' Said Rock

Dwayne Johnson also popularly known as 'the Rock' has confirmed he and his longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian are expecting a baby girl.

"I was raised by and live with amazing and strong women, so the universe felt we needed one more... IT'S A BABY GIRL!!" Rock posted the message on Instagram along with a picture with Hashian, reported Hollywood Life.

"THANK YOU guys so much for the awesome support and love you've sent @laurenhashianofficial and myself from around the world. We're so grateful for this blessing and thrilled to share the news with y'all."

Dwayne finished his post with a series of celebratory hashtags including "#BringOnMoreEstrogenInOurHome#MeAndPuppyHobbsAreTheOnlyDudes #Proud2xPapaBear #JustOverHereMakingBabiesAndStuff."

However, he didn't reveal when the little girl is due. The coming baby will be Dwayne's second child. He already has a 14 year old daughter Simone from his marriage to ex-wife Dany Garcia.

The former WWE star has been dating Hashian for the last nine years. He first met Hashian in 2007 while shooting "The Game Plan" in her native Boston. The forty-three-year-old actor announced Hashian's pregnancy last month, reported Inquisitr.

Johnson talked openly about his girlfriend in an interview with Esquire earlier this summer.

"I've lived with my longtime girlfriend, Lauren Hashian, going on, like, eight, nine years now. She's a singer-songwriter," he said.

"We spend a lot of time with my daughter, Simone, who's 13. We do these stories and we talk so much about the business end, the success end, but then Lauren isn't mentioned and my daughter isn't mentioned. I always like making sure we find the balance and my home life is in there and Lauren Hashian is in there and my daughter is in there."

The action star has a lot of work lined up for the coming few months. He is working on at least nine projects including the animated Disney film 'Moana and Furious 8.'
