'Reply 1988' Hye Ri Confesses WIth Candy

"Reply 1988" is a series of dramas that is set in a certain periodical era.  As it reflects a certain year in Korean history, the past reply series has been set in 1998 and 1994 as the actors gained a lot of popularity bringing up the trends of the past and all relevant musical and artistic culture.

In "Reply 1988" Hye Ri indirectly expressed her feelings to Ko Kyung Pyo.

On the 4th episode of tvN Friday/Saturday drama "Reply 1988" (script Lee Woo Jung, director Shin Won Ho) Sun Woo (played by Ko Kyung Pyo) heard Duk Sun (played by Hye Ri) express her feelings.

On this day, Duk Sun left a memo on Sun Woo's desk with an album of Byun Jin Sup, "The only thing that I can give you is candy."  Duk Sun ate ice cream and with candy in his arms, he looked like he was in full happiness.

The storyline is that it's set in 1988 at a neighborhood in Seoul where five families live on the same alley road.

With this, it will be interesting to see how this series will continue the trend of the Reply series and attract a viewership spanning decades.
