Zayn Malik Still Refuses To Reveal Reason Behind Split With Perrie Edwards But Claims He 'Loves Her A Lot'

Former One Direction hottie Zayn Malik is still not telling the real reason for his split with Perrie Edwards although he only has good words for the Little Mix singer.

It was earlier rumored that Zayn Malik initiated the split with Perrie Edwards through a text message, but the 22-year-old denied it.

"If you could word it exactly this way, I'd be very appreciative," he told Fader magazine. "I have more respect for Perrie than to end anything over text message. I love her a lot, and I always will, and I would never end our relationship over four years like that."

He went on to add, "She knows that, I know that, and the public should know that as well. I don't want to explain why or what I did, I just want the public to know I didn't do that."

During a guesting at James Corden's talk show, Perrie Edwards was asked how she's been doing following the split fromZayn Malik and she responded, "Do you know what? I am good. I wake up every day and thank my lucky stars that I have these three girls."

Following the split, Zayn Malik was link to several girls, including Kendall Jenner, Gage Golightly and the latest of whom is model and actress, Wallis Day.

"The former One Direction star led the way out of the celeb-favorite spot, closely followed by the beauty, who looked strikingly similar to his Little Mix singer ex," said Daily Mail.

Zayn Malik left the band earlier this year following rumors of him cheating with a blonde girl in Thailand surfaced. Later, he also split from his fiancée, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, right after announcing that he's working on a solo album.

The former One Direction singer has denied that he ever cheated with the Little Mix singer.
