In this year's 18th Busan International Film Festival, which took place on October 3, 2013 in the outdoor theater of Busan Film Center, idol singers attended the ceremony as actors, and actors as movie directors.

MBLAQ's Lee Joon and Big Bang's Top, and 2PM's Ok Taec Yeon each visited Busan as actors in "Actor is Actor," "The Commitment," and "Marriage Blue" respectively. All three idol stars took the lead role in their films. Especially, Lee Joon's "Actor is Actor" was officially invited as today-panorama category of the Busan International Film Festival, adding weight to his attendance.

In addition, Ha Jung Woo and Park Jung Hun, both once actors, attended the Busan International Film Festival as movie directors this year. "Rollercoasters," a film directed by Ha Jung Woo, was officially invited as panorama category of the Busan International Film Festival, rising as one of the 14 films to be shown during the world premiere screening.

Director Park Jung Hoon's debut film, "Top Star," is about three people: Tae Shik (Um Tae Ung), a dreamer, Won Jun (Kim Min Jun) a stop star, and Won Jun's girlfriend, Mina (So Ee Hyun). The movie is to have its first screening during the Busan International Film Festival.
