Joker actor Jared Leto reportedly spread holiday cheer to his neighbors recently.

According to a Daily Mail, the "Suicide Squad" star gave out pumpkin pies to his neighbors in Laurel Canyon neighborhood in Los Angeles for Thanksgiving.

Jared Leto reportedly wrote on the pie boxes: "Happy Thanksgiving! From: your neighbor, Jared Leto."

Were the neighbors of the "Suicide Squad" star creeped out over his unexpected gesture?

It would not be surprising that some of the people in his neighborhood may have heard about his weird and also unexpected gift to his "Suicide Squad" co-star Margot Robbie back when they were still filming the movie.

It has earlier been reported that Jared Leto have Margot Robbie a rat as a gift, saying that it's from The Joker. The director of the movie has reportedly employed the help of a therapist on set to make sure that the psychological welfare of the cast was well taken care of.

In a previous interview with Elle, Margot Robbie talked about Jared Leto's gift to her and why she decided to keep the rodent she named Rat Rat despite several crew members suggesting killing it.

"If Harley [her character in Suicide Squad] got something from Joker, she'd probably cherish it." the 24-year-old actress said.

Did Jared Leto's neighbors think that he was having another Joker moment when he gave out those holiday pies?

Not quite. According to a report, the Joker actor's pie-giving gesture was actually not unexpected - in fact, some of his neighbors could have been waiting for an apologetic gesture from him after "Suicide Squad" star caused them inconvenience recently.

"Jared had a crazy Halloween party shortly after moving in to his Laurel Canyon neighborhood in L.A., pissing off neighbors," TMZ reported. "They said his guests 'wreaked havoc' in the neighborhood, and one person even called him a "d***" for not getting guests a shuttle service."

"But pies from Whole Foods are the way to make things right, and we're guessing it worked."
